 Title    Structure and Reactivity of Isoannellated Heterocyclic Systems with 4nji-and (4/7+2);r-Electrons, XIV [1] Tri-and Tetracyclic Hetarenes with Localized or Delocalized Pyrrole Units  
 Abstract    2,7-Di-/er/-butyl-2,7-dihydro-benzo[ 1,2-c:3,4-c']dipyrrole (2b) and 2,5,8-Tri-rm-butyl-5.8-di-hydro-2H-benzo[l,2-c:3,4-c':5,6-c"]tripyrrole (3b) have been prepared by acetolysis of the cor-responding tri-and tetracyclic N-oxides, isolated in crystallinic form and characterized by spec-troscopic data. The scope of the N-oxide route is documented and the existence of benzo-annellated pyrroles is proofed. The stabilizing effect of the tert-butyl group is presumably sup-ported by the vicinal annellated heterocycles.

 Title    Dinitrosylmolybdenum Complexes with Anion Ligands Coordinating by Oxygen Atoms. Synthesis, Electronic Structure and Olefin Metathesis Activity of Carboxylato-Dinitrosyl-Molybdenum Complexes  
 Abstract    The new carboxylato-dinitrosyl-molybdenum complexes o f the formula: [M o(N O)2(0 2CMe)2] • M eOH , N a2[M o(N O)2(0 2CM e)4] and M o(N O)2(0 2CPh)2 have been synthesized. Their structure was resolved on the basis o f spectroscopic investigations ('H N M R , IR, U V -V IS). Catalytic activity o f these complexes in olefin metathesis reaction was also examined. The electronic structure o f dinitrosyl-molybdenum complexes with ligands coordinating by oxygen atom s was calculated for the example o f the di-and tetra-acetato-dinitrosyl-molybden-um com plexes using the Fenske-Hall and IN D O methods. To interpret the spectroscopic properties (U V -V IS) within the method o f interaction configuration, the electronic structure o f the excited states was calculated.
