 Abstract    Alkaline-earth Oxocuprate(II) with Closed Structural Groups: B aC u02 R. K ipka und H k. M ü l l e r -B u s c h b a u m In stitu t für Anorganische Chemie der C hristian-A lbrechts-U niversität K iel The new alkaline-earth oxocuprate(II) BaCu0 2 w as prepared and in v estig a ted by single crystal X -ray m ethods. (Space group: 0 ^ -I m 3 m , la ttice con stan t: a = 1827 pm .) The distribution o f 360 atom s per unit cell leads to a com plicated polyhedral fram ework w ith Cu2+ in w ell known square coordination. One of th e B a 2+ positions has th e extraordinary coordination number 24.

 Title    Zur Kristallstruktur von SrLaNi04 On the Crystal Structure of SrLaNi04  
 Abstract    Single crystals of SrLaNi04 were prepared with a new high temperature and high oxygen pressure method (C02-Laser radiation). The X-ray investigation shows, that this com-pound belongs to the K2NiF4-type (a — 381.3; c = 1268.7 pm; space group D^-14/mmm), with a stretched octahedral oxygen coordination around Ni 3+ . The octahedral distortion can only be explained by a geometrical effect.

 Title    Die Struktur des Rubidiumtrimolybdathydrats Rb2Mo3O10 * H20 The Structure of the Rubidiumtrimolybdate Hydrate Rb2Mo3Oi0 * H20  
 Abstract    For the first time single crystals of tri-molybdate were obtained through a slow trans-formation of the primary precipitate in a slightly acidified solution of rubidium molybdate at a temperature of 70 °C. A structural analysis of Rb2Mo30io • H20 revealed that the anion forms a chain with a hexameric identity period built up from MoOg octahedra. Each Mo atom is bonded with two terminal oxygen atoms. The anion doesn't contain OH groups.

 Title    Sodium Metaperrhenate, N aR e04: High Pressure Synthesis of Single Crystals and Structure Refinement  
 Abstract    Single crystals of sodium metaperrhenate, N a R e 0 4, have been obtained by oxidation of rhe­ nium metal with sodium nitrate under high pres­ sure-high temperature conditions (m odified Belt-type apparatus, 4 kbar, 400 °C, Au-capsules). The crystals are tetragonal, space group 14^0, with a = 5.3654(4), c = 11.732(2) A and Z = 4. The struc­ ture was refined to R -0.026, Rw = 0.013 for 382 unique, absorption-corrected reflections. The scheelite-type structure for N a R e 0 4, pro­ posed by Beintema in 1937, could be confirmed. It consists of isolated R e 0 4 tetrahedra (R e -O = 1.728(2) A), connected by N aO s dodecahedra (< N a -0 > = 2.582(2) Ä).
