| N O T I Z E N Long Chain Alkanes and Alcohols from the Leaf Waxes of Different Coffea Species  | | | | Abstract
| A gaschromatographic study has been made of the alkane-and alcoholic fractions from the leaf waxes of some Coffea species. The n-alkanes have the odd-carbon-numbered, the primary alcohols the even-carbon-numbered members pre dominating. The major homologues of the alkane fractions are C29 and C31 and of the alcoholic fractions C30 and C32 . The sub-divisions Erythrocoffea and Pachycoffea could be distinguished by the alkane patterns. Im Rahmen einer chemotaxonomischen Studie der Gattung Coffea wurden die Alkan-und Alkohol fraktionen der Blattwachse untersucht. | | | |
