 Abstract    Strains o f the phytopathogenic species Botrytis cinerea, Ceratocystis coerulescens, C.fim briata, Fusarium oxy­ sporum, and Rhizoctonia solani were cultivated on a d e­ fined synthetic culture medium. The plant horm one abscisic acid (ABA) was identified by gas chrom ato­ graphy/mass spectrometry and gas chromatography data, and the contents determined in m ycelia (1 5 .9 -3 1 .9 n g/g mycel) and culture media (1 .0 -4 .6 ng/m l) by scintillation counting.
