| of tungsten Cp(C0)ClW [7/3-P(Ph2)-C (R)= C = 0 ] (R = Me, Ph) react with hydrogen chloride under protonation of the ketene oxygen atom converting the ketene into a new cyclobutenol system. The products have been characterized by ]H, 13C, 31P NM R. IR and mass spectra. l-Carbonyl-l,l-dichloro-l-(?/5-cyclopentadienyl)-2,2-di-phenyl-3-methyl-l-wolframa-2-phospha-3-buten-4-ol crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2\/n with a = 9.046(2), b = 7.369(1), c = 30.266(2)Ä, ß = 96.63(3)° and Z = 4. | | |
