 Title    Organometallphosphin-substituierte Übergangsmetallkomplexe, XXVII [1] Trinitrosyl-organometallphosphin-mangan-Komplexe Organometalphosphine-Substituted Transition Metal Complexes, XXVII [1] Trinitrosy 1 (organometalphosphine)manganese Complexes
Abstract    The reactions of carbonyl trinitrosyl manganese with tri-ferf-butylphosphine, di-(ter£-butyl)-trimethylsilyl-, -germyl-, -stannyl-phosphine, fer£-butyl-bis(trimethylsilyl)-, -(germyl)-, -(stannyl)-phosphine, as well as with tris(trimethylsilyl)-, -(germyl)-, and -(stannyl)phosphine result in the elimination of the CO ligand and the formation of corresponding trinitrosyl(organometalphosphine)manganese complexes. The IR, UV, 1 H, 31 P, and 55 Mn NMR spectra are reported and discussed.

 Title    Bis(?? 5 -cyclopentacüenyl)N,N-Disiibstituted Dithiocarbamato(cUoro)oxomolybdeniim(VI) Complexes
Abstract    Bis(?j 5 -cyclopentadienyl)N,N-disubstituted Dithiocarbamato(chloro)oxomolybdenum(VI) complexes of the type (C5H5)2MoO(S2CNR2)C1 and (CsHshMoO^CNRR'JCl where R = Me, Et, «'-Pr and R' = cyclohexyl (cyhx) have been prepared by the reaction of stoichio- metric amounts of bis(^5-cyclopentadienyl)oxomolybdenum(VI) dichloride with sodium dichio-thiocarbamates in refluxing dichloromethane. Infrared spectral studies demonstrate that in these complexes, the dithiocarbamate ligands are bidentate. Hence a coordination number of 7 may be assigned to the molybdenum(VI) atom in each case. In addition to infrared studies, electronic spectra, NMR studies, magnetic susceptibility, elemental analyses and conductance measurements have been carried out for these complexes.

Abstract    Extended photolysis of M(CO)ö (M = W, Mo) and methyl acrylate or dimethyl fumarate results in formation of (^ 2 -olefin)2M(CO)4 via the less stable (^ 2 -olefin)M(CO)5 complexes. X-ray structure analysis of (^-methyl acrylate)2W(CO)4 reveals the trans-staggered arrangement of the olefinic ligands. Rotational barriers are determined by variable temperature NMR spectroscopy.

Title    Salts of Ferricinium Cation and its Homologues: NMR Investigation, II EPR and NMR Spectra of sym-Polymethyl Substituted Ferricinium Cations
Abstract    The EPR, iH and 13 C NMR spectra of methylferricinium hexafluorophosphates, [(MenCp)2Fe]PFö, n — 0-5, have been recorded. HFS constants have been estimated for all the ligand atoms. The general pattern of the spin density distribution is shown to depend on the superposition of the various mechanisms of spin derealization. For the majority of the cations the determining factors has been found to be represented by spin polarization over the jr-skeleton.

Title    Synthese und Stabilisierung von (Benzoyl-und Pentafluorbenzoyloxy)diphenyIphosphan und Vergleich mit den entsprechenden isomeren Aroyldiphenylphosphanoxiden Synthesis and Stabilization of (Benzoyl-and Pentafluorobenzoyloxy)diphenylphosphane and Comparison with the Corresponding Isomeric Aroyldiphenylphosphane Oxides
 Abstract    (Benzoyloxy)-and (pentafluorobenzoyloxy)diphenylphosphanes RC(0)0PPh2 (2a, b) [R = C6H5 (a), C6F5 (b)] can be obtained by reaction of ClPPh2 (1) with Na02CC6H5 and Ag02CCeF5, respectively [eq. (1)]. Oxidation of 2a with molecular oxygen yields (benzoyl-oxy)diphenylphosphane oxide (3a) [eq. (2)]. The complexes (0C)5CrPPh20C(0)R (oa, b) are formed by the action of Na2OCC6Hs and Ag02CC6Fs, respectively on (OC)5CrPPh2Cl (4) [eq. (3)]. The chemical and spectroscopical properties of the (aroyloxy)diphenylphosphanes (2 a, b) are compared with the corresponding aryldiphenylphosphane oxides.

Abstract    5-Bromo-uracil (2) with chloro-diphenylphosphine and triethylamine gives 5-bromo-N(1),N(3)-bis(diphenylphosphino)-uracil (3). In moist acetone, 3 is hydrolyzed to 5-bromo-N(l)-diphenylphosphino-uracil (4). 3 reacts with n-butyllithium under rearrangement and, with HCl, under elimination of a PPh2-group, forms C(5)-diphenylphosphino-uracil (7 a). Recrystallization of 7 a from ethanol yields the ethanol-1:1-adduct 7 b. Heating of 7 a in dimethylsulfoxide with D20 yields the N(l),N(3)-dideutero-C(5)-diphenylphosphino-uracil (7 c). All compounds were characterized by infrared, Raman, iH, 31 P NMR and mass spectra. 7 a shows a very small antitumor activity.

 Title    Über das [C7H7Fe2(CO)5]--Anion (C7H7 = Cycloheptatrienyl) About the [C7H7Fe2(CO)5]--Anion (C7H7 = Cycloheptatrienyl)
Abstract    The extremely unstable anionic complex [C7H7Fe2(CO)6]~ (C7H7 = cycloheptatrienyl) which decomposes in polar solvents under CO elimination to give [C7H7Fe2(CO)s]~ can be prepared by deprotonation of C7H8Fe2(CO)6 (C7H8 = cycloheptatriene) with NaN(SiMe3)2 in CßHe-The NMR spectra of [C7H7Fe2(CO)5]~ show the highly fluctional character of this anion in solution. The X-ray structural parameters of Ph4As[C7H7Fe2(CO)5] (space group P2i/n) can be interpreted in terms of a rotation of the tub shaped C7H7 ring against the CO bridged Fe2(CO)5 fragment in the solid state. Consequently, each iron atom is alternatingly rj 3 -or ^-coordinated to the allyl anion and the diene part, respectively, of the anionic 8n system of the cycloheptatrienyl ring.
