Mitteilung [1] Die Struktur der roten Modifikation des Tetrakis(diphenylseleno)-diquecksilber(I)-bis(chlorat(VII)) Stable Mercury(I)-Selenium Compounds, 2 nd Communication [1] The Structure of the Red Modification of Tetrakis(diphenyl-seleno)-dimercury(I)-bis(chlorate(VII)) As shown by X-ray analysis the structure of the red modification of tetrakis(diphenyl-seleno)-dimercury(I)-bis(chlorate(VII)) contains cations [(C6H5)2Se]2Hg-Hg[Se(C6H5)2]2®® and C104~-anions. The twofold coordination of each mercury atom by 2 selenium atoms is remarkable for a mercury(I) compound. The relations between red and yellow modifica-tions are discussed. | | | |
