 Title    New Flavone Glucoside Malonylesters from Bryum capillare  
 Abstract    -ö"-malonate From Bryum capillare Hedw. a variety of flavone glucosides and their 6"malonyl esters were isolated. Diosmetin 7-0-ß-D-glucoside-6"-malonylester, luteolin 7-0-ß-D-glucoside-6"malonyl-ester and 6-OH-luteolin 7-0-ß-D-glucoside-6"malonylester are new flavone malonyl esters. This is the first report of flavone glucoside malonylesters in a non vascular plant. The flavonoid pattern of the gametophyte is different from that of the sporophyte. The chemotaxonomic relevance of these results is discussed.

 Title    Oxidation of Flavanones to Flavones with Flower Extracts of Antirrhinum majus (Snapdragon)  
 Abstract    Enzyme preparations from flowers of Antirrhinum majus catalysed the oxidation of naringenin to apigenin and o f eriodictyol to luteolin. Enzyme activity was found to be localized in the microsomal fraction. The reaction required NADPH as cofactor and had a pH optimum o f about 7.0. The NADPH-dependent microsomal enzyme activity was also present in flower extracts of other flavone-producing plants, whereas flower extracts of plants which lack flavones were found to lack also this enzyme activity.
