| Tw o new isoflavone dimers, kudzuisoflavone A and B have been isolated from yeast extract-treated cell suspension cultures o f Pueraria lobata (Leguminosae). Their structures were char acterized by spectral data, and they were considered to be formed by phenol oxidative coupling o f two isoflavone moieties through C —C ortho-ortho and ortho-para couplings, respectively. | | |
