 Abstract    The parameters of complete X-ray struc­ ture determinations are given for the fluorides R b2N aF eF 6 and R b2K F eF 6 (cubic), Cs2NaCrF6 and Cs2N aF eF 6 (hexagonal-rhom-bohedral) and Cs2LiGaF6 (hexagonal). Space group and lattice constants of the monoclinic cyanides Cs2BFe(C N)6 (B = Na, K, Rb) are reported as well.

 Title    Impedance Measurements to Determine the Influence of Fluoride at Platinum Anodes During the Formation of Peroxodisulfate  
 Abstract    The electrode reactions at platinum anodes in 1.5 M H2S 0 4 + 2.3 M (N H 4)2S 0 4 solution with and without addition o f NaF (0.5 M) have been examined. Impedance spectra between 1 to 100.000 Hz were measured under galvanostatic conditions. Electrolyte, polarization, charge-transfer resistance (Rd), double-layer capacitance (CD) and inductance (L) were determined. For a constant current density, fluoride causes an increase o f CD and a decrease o f RD. At a certain potential (measured and corrected by the electrolyte resistance) CD nearly remains the same with and without fluoride, whereas RD is slightly increased by fluoride. This behaviour is explained by the double function o f the fluoride: It is adsorbed on the anode surface and causes an increase o f the real current density on the surface. Simultaneously, the evolution o f oxygen is hindered by fluoride.

 Title    The Influence of High Concentrations of Fluoride on the Electrosynthesis of Peroxodisulfates at /?-Pb02 Anodes  
 Abstract    During electrolysis with /?-Pb02 anodes in acidic sulfate electrolytes high current efficiencies o f peroxodisulfate are obtained (60—70%) when high amounts o f fluoride (1 M o lT '1 to 3 M ol • I"1) are added to the electrolyte. This reaction is examined by means o f current efficien­ cy o f peroxodisulfate, rate o f ozone form ation, polarization curves, and impedance measure­ ments. The reason for the high current efficiencies is the formation o f fluorosulfonic acid in the electrolyte and its reaction with the OH-radical (from the discharge o f H 20) to form H S 0 4-radicals.
