Title    Elektrochemische Synthesen, II [1] Theoretische Aspekte der elektrochemischen Synthese von Komplexen Electrochemical Syntheses, II [1] Theoretical Aspects of the Electrochemical Synthesis of Complexes
Abstract    A theoretical model for the electrochemical synthesis of transition metal complexes in low oxidation states has been developed on the basis of Pearson's HSAB concept. A MO description is used to discuss the important practical implications of the model.

Abstract    Elektrochemische Substitution der YIB-Hexacarbonyle M(CO)6 (M = Cr, Mo, W) Electrochemical Syntheses, VI [1] Electrochemical Substitution of VIB-Hexacarbonyls M(CO)6 (M = Cr, Mo, W) The electrochemical substitution of group VIB hexacarbonyls by solvent molecules and/or phosphane ligands is studied in some detail and is found to be a fruitful alternative preparative route to the well-known photochemical reaction.

 Title    Elektrochemische Synthesen, VII [1]
Abstract    Elektrochemische Substitutionsreaktionen an M(CO)6_n(PR3)M-Komplexen (M = Cr, Mo, W) Electrochemical Syntheses, VII [1] Electrochemical Substitution Reactions of M(CO)6-n(PR3)n Complexes (M = Cr, Mo, W) The principle of electrochemical substitution of metal carbonyls has been applied to monosubstituted derivatives M(CO)5PR3 (M = Cr, Mo, W) with the aim of selective prepa-ration of di-and trisubstituted products M(CO)4(PR3)(PR'3) or M(CO)3(PR3)(PR'3)2. It is shown that, due to simultaneous replacement of CO and PR3 mixtures of products are formed.

Title    The Electrochemical Synthesis of Neutral Zinc(II) Complexes of Schiff Base Ligands: The Crystal Structure of Bis[N-(4-methylphenyl)salicylaldiminato]zinc(II)
Abstract    The electrochemical synthesis and physico-chemical properties of neutral zinc(II) complexes of bidentate Schiff bases derived from salicylaldehydes are presented together with the X-ray struc-ture of bis[N-(4-methylphenyl)salicylaldiminato]zinc(II). The crystal is monoclinic, a = 21.877(3), b = 8.801(2), c = 12.027(5) Ä, ß = 96.55(3)°, space group C2/c. The complex is a monomer, and the zinc atom is tetrahedrally coordinated.

Title    Electrochemical Syntheses of Pyrimidine-2-thiolato Complexes of Nickel(II) Crystal and Molecular Structure of 2,2 -Bipyridine-bis(pyrimidine-2-thiolato)nickel(II) Monohydrate+
 Abstract    The electrochemical oxidation o f nickel in pyrimidine-2-thione (pym tH) solution yields a com pound o f formula [Ni(pymt)-,]. When pyridine (py), 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy) or 1,10-phenan throline (phen) are added to the solution phase, the product obtained is a complex [Ni(pym t)2py2] or [Ni(pym t)2L] (L = bipy or phen). The crystal structure o f [Ni(pym t)2bipy] • H 20 is monoclinic, space group P 2,/c, with a = 726.6(2), b = 1586.2(2), c =
