 Title    Influence of Conformational Equilibria upon the Self-Diffusion of the Conformers in Neat Liquids  
 Abstract    The self-diffusion coefficients D of the isomers of liquid N-isopropyl-N-methylacetamide (IPMAA) and acetylacetone (AC AC) are studied as functions of temperature. For AC AC also pressure dependent studies were undertaken. In IPMAA the eis and trans conformers have almost identical D. In liquid ACAC, D Kclo is always smaller than D cnol , this difference being 15% around 300 K.

 Abstract    The photoelectron spectrum of HsC6-Te-CH 3 displays in its low energy region over-lapping bands of gas-phase conformers. Depending on the dihedral angle between the plane of the phenyl ring and the tellurium lone pair, the TI conjugation amounts to only 0.1 eV and 0.3 eV, respectively. These values are compared to the considerably larger ones found for the analogous phenyl derivatives H5C6-X-CH3 with X = O, S and Se.

 Title    Photochemisches Verhalten von (CF3S)2CS in Inertgasmatrix Photochemical Behavior of (CFsS^CS in Rare Gas Matrix  
 Abstract    Infrared spectra have been recorded of (CFsS^CS in the gas and solid phase as well as isolated in noble gas matrix; the Raman spectra of the liquid have also been taken. The analyses of the spectra show that this compound consists of a complex mixture of con-formers. By photolysis in a matrix with light of wavelength > 300 nm the distribution of the conformers changes and with light of wavelength > 530 nm this change can be reversed. The threshold for photochemical decomposition in the matrix is about 300 nm. The decomposition products consist of an equimolar mixture of CF3SCF3 and CS2.
