 Title    Synthese neuer Phosphan-Nickel(I)-KompIexe und Kristallstruktur von /# 3 Jodo-fra-^-iodo-cycIotris(triphenylphosphan-nickel), (TPP) 3 Ni 3 I 4 Synthesis of New Phosphine Nickel(I) Complexes and Crystal Structure of // 3 -Iodo-m's-//-iodo-cyclotris(triphenylphosphine Nickel), (TPP) 3 Ni 3 I 4
Abstract    Synthesis and properties of the new nickel(I) complexes (COD)Ni(TPP)I (3) and (TCP)Nil (5) are reported. Reaction of 3 and 5 with diphenylacetylene (7) yields alkyne complexes (R 3 P)NiI(PhC2Ph)Ni(R 3 P)I (R = Ph (8a), and Cy (8b)). In solution, 3 disproportionates to give nickel(O) and (TPP) 3 Ni 3 I 4 (12)), the structure of which has been determined by X-ray crystallogra-phy. Cluster compound 12 is cleaved into monomeric units by addition of ligands such as TPP or CO (TPP = triphenylphosphine, TCP = tricyclohexylphosphine, COD = 1,5-cyclooctadiene).

Title    Diazadiene als Steuerliganden in der Homogenen Katalyse, VIII [1] Katalytische Trimerisierung substituierter Acetylencarbonsäureester und Isolierung eines Acetylendicarbonsäureester-Diazadien-Nickel(O)-Addukts Diazadienes as Controlling Ligands in Homogeneous Catalysis, VIII [1] Catalytic Trimerization of Substituted Acetylene Carbonic Acid Esters and Isolation of an Acetylene Dicarbonic Acid Ester Diazadiene Nickel(O) Adduct
Abstract    Nickel(O) complexes of diazadienes (dad = RN = CR — C R '=N R) catalyse the trimerization of esters of 2-butynoic acid, phenylpropynoic acid and butynedioic acid to give hexasubstituted benzenes with the unsymmetrical esters 2 as the main products. A primary adduct 7 of acetylene dicarboxylic acid dimethyl ester of the type (dad)Ni(alkyne) could be isolated and characterized by 'H NMR, IR and UV spectroscopy. According to their characteristic CT absorption. 7 and its analogues are shown to persist during catalysis as an active species.

Title    Zum Koordinationsverhalten von Alkinen gegenüber dem [C5H5(P(OCH3)3)2Fe]+-Fragment: Bildung und Struktur carbonylfreier Halbsandwichkomplexe mit Alkin-und Vinylidenliganden Coordination Properties o f Alkynes towards the [C5H 5Fe(P(O C H 3)3)2]+ Fragment: Form ation and Structure o f Carbonylfree Halfsandwich Complexes with Alkyne and Vinylidene Ligands
 Abstract    The alkyne containing halfsandwich complexes [C5H 5(P(O CH 3)3)2Fe(HC = CC6H 5)]PF6 (Ilia) and [C5H 5(P (0C H 3)3)2Fe(C H 30 2CC = C C 0 2C H 3)]PF6 (Illb) are accessible by thermal acetonitrile substitution from [C5H 5(P(OCH3)3)2Fe(N C C H 3)]PF6 (I) in the presence o f the al kyne. U pon standing in solution, Ilia isomerizes to give the isomeric phenylvinylidene com plex [C5H 5(P(O CH 3)3)2Fe(C = C(C6H5)H)]PF6 (IV). The spectroscopic data are presented to gether with a discussion o f the X-ray structure determinations o f III b and IV.
