	Title	Synthese und
	Abstract	-diphosphazenium bromide [(NH->)3PNP(NHi)3]Br, nitrate 1(NH2)3PNP(NH2)3][N03], and toluene-4-sulfonate [(NH2)3PNP(NH2)3][CH3C6H4S0 3] have been prepared by anion exchange in aqueous solution. Single crystals were obtained from acetonitrile solutions in a temperature gradient between 60 °C and room temperature. The crystal structures were determined by single crystal X-ray methods at room temperature. ([(NH2)3PNP(NH2)3]Br: P i, Z = 2, a = 596.2(1),b = 744.5(1), c = 1114.4(1) pm, a = 108.78(1), ß = 104.18(1), 7 = 90.64(1)°, R 1 = 0.048, wR2 = 0.104; [(NH2)3PNP(NH2)3][N03]: Pi, Z = 2, a = 550.9(1), b = 796.3(1), c = 1115.7(1) pm, a = 94.45(1), ß = 99.55(1), 7 = 101,53(1)°, R l = 0.033, wR2 = 0.095; [(NH2)3PNP(NH2)3][CH3C6H4S 0 3]: P2,/c, Z = 4, a = 804.1(1), b = 596.1(1), c = 3218.7(3) pm, ß = 94.59(1)°, /?1 = 0.052, wR2 = 0.136). In the solid the three salts consist of discrete [(NHi)3PNP(NH2)3]+ cations and their corresponding anions. The PN4 tetrahedra in [(NH2)3PNP(NH2j3]Br are staggered, while in [(NH2)3PNP(NH2)3][N03] the eclipsed conformation is preferred. The PN4 tetrahedra of [(NH2)3PNP(NH2)3][CH3C 6H4S 0 3] show gauche conformation.

	Title	Synthesis of C2B3 X-Heterocycles (X = C, N, P, O, S) from l,3?5-Triborapentanes
	Abstract	The hydroboration of acetylene with HBCb yields the products (CbB^CHM e (la), (Cl2BCHMe)2BCl (2a), (Cl2BCHMeBCl)2CHMe (3a), and (ClBCHMe)3 (4a). The crystal structure of 4a as well as of the pentaiodo derivative 2b were determined. A mechanism for the formation of the different hydroboration products is proposed. The 1,3,5-triborapentane 2a serves as precursor for the synthesis of derivatives of 1,3,5-triboracyclohexanes, 1,3,5-tribora-2-aza-cyclohexanes, l,3,5-tribora-2-phospha-cyclo-hexanes, and 1,3,5-tribora-2-thia-cyclohexanes. Their constitutions have been derived from spectroscopic studies. The crystal structure of the 1,3,5-tribora-2-oxa-cyclohexane derivative was also determined.

	Abstract	The reaction of K2(PMe)4 • 2 THF with eis-1,2-dichloroethylene yields the hitherto unknown cyclocarbaphosphanes 1,2,3-trimethyl-1,2,3-triphosphole, (PMe)3C2H2 (1), and 2,3,4,6,7,8-hexamethyl-2,3,4,6,7,8-hexaphosphabicyclo[3,3,0]octane, (PMe)6C2H2 (2). Besides, (PMe)s, (PMe)4CH2, (PMe)3C2Hi, and the new six-membered heterocycle (PMe)2(C2H2)2 are formed. The cyclocarbaphosphanes 1 and 2 were characterized by elemental analysis, mass, IR, Raman, and NMR spectra. For the bicyclic compound 2 two diastereomers were obtained and separated. They differ in the position of the methine hydrogens and of the methyl substituents (eis-2 and trans-2). Compound 2 is also produced in the reaction of K2(PMe)4 • 2 THF with £rans-l,2-dichloroethylene whereas with 1,1,2,2- tetrachloroethane mainly (PMe)s is formed. In 1 and in each of thefive-memberedrings of cis-2 and trans-2 the methyl substituents at adjacent phosphorus atoms are situated on opposite sides of the ring.

	Title	A M yricetin Tetram ethyl Ether from the L eaf and Stem Surfaces o f Tillandsia usneoides
	Abstract	Myricetin-3,7,3',4'-tetramethyl ether has been isolated as an aglycone from the acetone wash of Tillandsia usneoides. It is thus shown to be deposited externally, on leaf and stem surfaces. We suggest that the previously re ported lipophilic flavonoids from this and other species are also exudate constituents.

In the columnar crystal structures there are alternating donor and acceptor molecules. The chalcogenanthrene molecules which are folded at their E -E axes in the pure state, are planar in the complexes indicating a charge-transfer according to [donor]+ [acceptor]-. Consecutive molecules of the stacks are arranged in such a way that an optimum overlap of the HOMO of the donor and the LUMO of the acceptor, both of which are of 7T-type character according to MNDO calculations, is secured.

Jones, R e in h a rd S chm utzler The reaction of l,5-bis(trimethylsilyl)-l,3.5-trimethylbiuret (1) with/M olylsulfenyl chloride (2) furnished l-(/?-tolylthio)-5-trimethylsilyl-l,3,5-trimethylbiuret (3). In the reaction of 3 with phenyldichlorophosphine, 2-phenyl-2-(/?-tolylthio)-l,3,5-trimethyl-l,3,5-triaza-4,6-dione-2-phosphorinonium chloride (4) was formed. The same product was obtained from the reac tion of 2-phenyl-l,3,5-trimethyl-l,3,5-triaza-2/.3-phosphorin-4,6-dione (6) with p-tolylsulfenyl chloride (2). Compound 4 was isolated and characterized in the form of the hexachloroanti-m onate (4a). The spirophosphorane 2-phenyl-l,3,5-trimethyl-l,3,5-triaza-7,10-dioxa-8,9-perchlorobenzo-2As-phosphaspiro-[4.5]decan-4,6-dione (7) was prepared by the reaction of 4 with tetrachloroorthobenzoquinone. The new products were characterized by 'H -and 13C NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, 31P NMR spectroscopy in the case of 4a. 6 and 7, and mass spectrometry (4a). Single-crystal X-ray structural analyses of compounds 4a and 7 were conducted. The phosphorus atom of 4a has the expected tetrahedral geometry, with a rather short P-S bond of 204.9(2) pm. In 7 the geometry at phosphorus is almost ideal trigonal bipyramidal. Weak hydrogen bonds are formed from a C (:0) group to deuterochloroform of solvation.

	Abstract	Sulfurdiimides, 2,7,3,6-Tetrahydrobenzo[b]-l,2,7,3,6-thiadiazadiborepines, 1,2,4-Trithia-3,5-diborolanes, 2,5-D ihydrobenzo[b]-1,2,5-thiadiboroles 2,5-Bisdim ethylam ino-2,5-dihydrobenzo[b]-l,2,5-thiadiborole (2) has been obtained from the diiodine-derivative by reaction with dimethyl-aminotrimethylsilane. Reaction o f 2 or 2,5-bisdim ethylam ino-r,2'-dim ethyl-2,5-dihydrobenzo[b]-thiadiborole with di-rer/-butyl-, tert-butyl-trimethylsilyl-and bistrimethylsilyl-sulfurdiimide yields the 2,7,3,6-tetrahydrobenzo[b]-1,2,7,3,6-thiadiazadiborepines (3a-3e). 'H, "B, l3C N M R , MS and analytical data and results o f analysis are given. For 3 a the X-ray structure is reported.
