 Title    Preparation and Reactions of Bicyclic Compounds with a Phosphorus-Phosphorus-Bond  
 Abstract    The reaction of N,N'-dimethyl-N,N'-bis(trimethylsilyl)urea with PCI3 leads to the bicyclic compound OP2[MeNCONMe]2 (3) with a direct phosphorus-phosphorus bond and to the bicycle MeNP2[MeNCONMe]2 (4). 3 reacts with tetrachloro-o-benzoquinone (TOB) to yield the spirocycle CeCl^tMeNCONMe^PaO (5) with a A 4 P-A 5 P-bond. The Lewis acids SbCls and SnCLj react with 3 to give the adducts 6 and 7. The reactions of 3 with the metal carbonyls Fe2(CO)9, Cr(CO)5THF and Cr(CO)4C7Hx lead to the metal complexes 8-10.  Abstract    The spirobi(benzodioxaphosphole) system stabilizes high phosphorus coordination. Thus bis(o-phenylenedioxy)chlorophosphorane adds pyridine in a fast first step without disso-ciation to a neutral, and in a slower second step to a cationic hexacoordinate phosphorus species. The equilibria compositions were determined by 31 P NMR. The cation of the bis(pyridine) adduct can be isolated as the stable crystalline chloride which partly decomposes on dissolving. More stable, even in boiling water, is the cation of the 2,2'-bipyridine adduct. iH NMR studies of the bis(pyridine) adduct lead to a eis structure.  Title    Vinyldifluorphosphorane: Synthese durch Direktfluorierung und Additions verhalten [1] Vinyldifluorophosphoranes: Synthesis by Direct Fluorination and Addition Behaviour [1]  
 Abstract    The vinyldifluorophosphoranes PhrePF2(CH = CH2)3-re (2a: n = 1, 2b: n = 2) or Ph2PF2(C6H4-CH = CH2) 4 were obtained in good yield by direct fluorination of the corresponding phosphines. Catalytic addition of PI12PH or PhPH2 to 2 b gives phosphino-ethyl-substituted fluorophosphoranes which have not yet been obtained by partial fluorination. The structures have been established by NMR (19 F, 31 P) and in addition by sulfurisation. Whereas 2 b does not polymerize, homopolymerisation of the styrene derivative 4 gives polymer fixed difluorophosphorane.

 Title    Carbonylniobium Chemistry, IV [1] Derivatives of ^ 5 -C5H5Nb(CO)4 with Tridentate Phosphines  
 Abstract    The photo-induced reaction between CpNb(CO)4 and Ph2P(CH2)2PR(CH2)2PPh2 (L; R = Ph, Cy) yields the chelated five-membered ring complexes cis-[CpNb(CO)2L] (two isomers in the case of R = Cy). The uncordinated PPI12 group reacts with CpNb(CO)3THF to form CpNb(CO)2(ia-L)CpNb(CO)3. IR, 31 P and 93 Nb NMR spectra are discussed and compared with corresponding data of the analogous vanadium complexes.
