Title    79'81Br NQR Spectra of Alkyl(4-Bromophenyl)Sulphides
Abstract    The 79,81Br NQR spectra of compounds of the series 4-BrC6H 4SR with R = (C H 2)"H (n = 1,2, 4 -9), (CH 2)I)C H (C H 3)2 (n = 0 -2) and C H m(C H 3)3_m were obtained at 77 K. The halogen atom electron densities in these compounds and chlorine-containing analogs are compared. The ratio of the amplitudes of the N Q R frequency oscillations in chlorine-and brom ine-containing compounds with R = (CH2)nH corresponds to the ratio of the polarizabilities of 35C1 and 79Br. The variation of the alkyl groups R influences the electron distribution of the halogen atom.

Title    NQR Studies of Halogen Treated 1-2-3 System
Abstract    NQR spectra of copper in polycrystalline samples of iodine treated RBa 2 Cu 3 O y (R = Y, Gd) were studied. The results of all the experiments show evidence for the modifications occurring in the oxygen sublattice in treated compounds.

 Title    Charge Distribution and Structures of Halogenogallates and Halogenoaluminates of the Type Me I Me III X4, Me T Me2 m X7, and C6H6 CUA1C14. An NQR Investigation ( 35 C1, 79 Br, 127 I, 63 Cu, 69 Ga)
Abstract    In polycrystalline samples of the halogenoaluminates Me I AlCl4 (Me 1 — Cu, Ag), CuAlBr4, C6H6 • CUA1C14 and halogenogallates CuGaCl4, Me I GaBr4 (Me 1 = Cu, Na, K, NH4, Rb, Cs, Ga), Me T GaI4 (Me* = Cu, Cs), Me^aaBr? (Me* = K, NH4, Rb, Cs), CsGa2I7, the halogen, Me 111 , and Cu-NQR spectra were studied, partly as a function of temperature. Phase transformations are found in NH4GaBr4, CsGaBr4, and RbGa2Br7. The spectro-scopic results are discussed and a charge distribution analysis is given, based on the Townes-Dailey theory. Symmetry properties of the solids are pointed out in connection with multiplicity and intensity ratios of the NQR spectra.

 Title    The Temperature Dependence of 12U23 Sb, 35 C1, 79,81 Br and 127 I NQR Spectra in Complexes Cs 3 Sb 2 X 9 (X = CI, Br, I)
Abstract    The 12U23 Sb, 35 C1, 79 81 Br and 127 I NQR Spectra of the complexes Cs 3 Sb 2 X 9 (X = C1, Br, I), prepared from CsX and SbX 3 aqueous solutions, were studied at 77-400 K. Analysis of the^ temperature coeffi-cients of the quadrupole transition frequency (v), quadrupole coupling constant (e 2 Qq zz) and asymme-try parameter of the electric field gradient (q) was carried out.
